Michelle works closely with the Board leading on resourcing and resourcing requirements, the firm’s recruitment strategy and consultant engagement. She brings her extensive knowledge of the recruitment and legal services sectors to attract the best talent to Halebury and its rapidly growing team.
Michelle worked for a leading professional services recruitment agency for 10 years, including five years as a director heading up the in-house recruitment department. Her clients included FTSE 100 companies as well as SMEs and start ups and covered a range of sectors from financial services to commerce and industry. This experience provided a valuable insight into what clients require from their in-house lawyers.
Michelle originally trained as a corporate lawyer at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw (now Mayer Brown International) and then moved to work in-house at Lehman Brothers before transferring her skills to recruitment.
Having been involved in delivering resourcing solutions to clients for 12 years, Michelle has an in-depth understanding of client needs and the changes which have impacted on the legal sector over that time.
