Janvi has been nominated for the Asian Women of the Year Award in 2007 and 2012.  A graduate of law and accountancy graduate of Manchester University (1991-1995), Janvi's legal experience merges private practice with in-house and she prides herself on being a business woman at heart. She trained and then qualified in 2000 with Charles Russell into their employment practice, then the largest stand alone employment practice in the city of London.  Following seven years at Charles Russell, Janvi wanted to be closer to business and started working within the legal team at Nortel Networks Plc from 2005 where she covered the EMEA region.

An expert in employment law Janvi advises on all aspects of this specialist area including on general strategy, HR advisory, dismissals and grievances, cross border restructuring and cross border TUPE.

Janvi gives regular talks to lawyers and to industry on a variety of employment related matters as well as on entrepreneurship and has written a number of articles for publications such as Better Business and HR Magazine and is a regular contributor to Pay and Benefits Magazine. Janvi is a charter member of TIE (UK) and a committee member of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women – Mentoring Programme.
