What do you focus on for your clients

I enjoy helping clients with their business, especially developing new products and services and working out what needs to be done to get these to market.  This  ranges from assessing the requlatory requirements to putting in place contractual arrangements with key third party suppliers.  Data Protection and complex contracts (particularly with a technology/ IT focus) are at the core of what I do as a senior commercial lawyer, and I couple this with a focus on risk management and identifying the practical steps that one needs to take to get to a finished result. I also have an interest in non-executive director and advisory committee work.

Tell us about your professional background

I am a Specialist Member of IGARD (Independent Group Advising NHS Digital on the Release of Data).   Other committee work includes participation in a specialist NICE Committee as a Lay Member (past).  Prior to joining Halebury, I was at Baker McKenzie as Special Projects, Risk & Compliance Counsel.  The majority of my career was spent at Accenture.  I was a Senior Executive and was involved in many different parts of the business such as the Indian practice, the European & Latin American Communications and High Tech Practice and the New Businesses function.  My latest role there involved leading the alliances and innovation team.

This resulted in strong messaging which stood the test of time and a visual identity which, more than ten years ago, was a differentiator as we were seen as fresh and different to […]
