What do you focus on for your clients

I am a senior commercial solicitor with over 20 years’ experience gained in a variety of industries including telecoms, oil and chemicals and transport. I focus on understanding my clients’ businesses quickly and becoming an integral part of their teams so that I can provide commercial pragmatic advice.

Tell us about your professional background

I trained at Allen & Overy and worked for Hammond Suddards (now Squire Sanders) before moving to an in-house role at Shell International Limited. I later moved into the TMT sector and worked for Damovo UK Limited and Virgin Media Limited. I have gained experience in working for multinational companies as well as SMEs. I have been a consultant at Halebury for six years and my work has included placements with British Telecommunications Plc and BskyB. Recent projects have involved drafting and negotiating high value contracts for the provision of complex telecommunications and IT solutions to private sector customers as well as advising on tender responses for similar contracts for public sector customers.

Tell us a bit about your working style and other interests 

I maintain a professional approach whilst establishing a close relationship with my clients and a good understanding of their businesses. I look to resolve issues in a logical way and provide practical, commercial legal advice. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family – my husband, three daughters and crazy dog.
