Celebrating International Women’s Day 2017 #beboldforchange
8th March is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is also a day to make a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
This is day of great meaning for Halebury. We founded the business in 2007, two former in-house lawyers and passionate female entrepreneurs with a vision to create an entirely new legal services model for clients and senior in-house lawyers. Ten years on and we still strongly believe in the connection between innovation, diversity and progression within the legal profession and continue to raise awareness when it comes to the subject of women in leadership and how we innovate to ensure more senior women reach the top.
To celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, we would like to republish some fantastic interviews with leading female General Counsel who are shaking up the legal industry. Funke Abimbola, Maaike de Bie and Vicky Sandry are all women at the top of their game, innovating within their departments and the industry in general and role models for those entering the profession.
This year’s campaign for IWD is #BeBoldForChange, asking people to forge a better working world, a more gender inclusive world. Submit your #BeBoldForChange action via the IWD website on www.internationalwomensday.com.
