What do you focus on for your clients

I am a senior commercial lawyer with over 20 years’ experience advising media and technology companies on a wide range of legal issues including data protection, intellectual property, general commercial advice and corporate matters. I often work with companies to help them negotiate high value deals, as well as build and manage legal processes to support international sales teams and other functions. I have also built and led cross-functional and international teams for several clients.

Tell us about your professional background

I worked Olswang and Baker & McKenzie focusing on corporate and commercial work for media and technology clients, then moved to an in-house legal role at AOL Time Warner. I then studied an MBA to broaden my skill set and gain a better understanding of strategy and corporate finance from a non-legal perspective. After my MBA, I worked in a number of operational and advisory roles at both start-ups and larger companies such as EMI, National Geographic, Hearst and Dailymotion.

I also like the odd drop of wine and have gained various wine tasting qualifications with a view to becoming a Master of Wine someday…

This resulted in strong messaging which stood the test of time and a visual identity which, more than ten years ago, was a differentiator as we were seen as fresh and different to […]
