Halebury’s team of senior in-house lawyers continues to grow with two new recruits
Halebury continues to grow its team of senior in-house lawyers with the addition of two experienced commercial lawyers: Simon Phillips and Elspeth Lowe.
Prior to joining Halebury, Simon was a partner in Bird and Bird’s Commercial Group. He has substantial experience in drafting, negotiations and advising on all forms of commercial agreements, especially technology focused major projects and outsourcing and services agreements. He has expertise in the health care and life sciences sectors and led Bird and Bird’s development in the new practice areas of genomic technologies, especially their application to healthcare.
Elspeth Lowe has also joined the firm. Elspeth is a senior in-house lawyer with significant financial services sector experience, having worked in-house as Senior Legal Counsel for Nationwide for a number of years. Elspeth also has public sector experience having worked as Senior Counsel for The Council for the City and County of Swansea. Prior to this she worked in the retail sector as Senior Counsel for Peacocks Stores. Elspeth is an experienced commercial lawyer with particular expertise in reviewing high value contracts in a regulated environments.
