Leading on client resourcing and client engagement for the HQ team.

What do you focus on

I focus on the resourcing and redeployment of our team of senior in-house lawyers.  I am usually the first point of contact with clients to understand their requirements, to advise them on the best resourcing model and to negotiate terms ensuring they are win win for all!

Tell us about your professional background

I have over 15 years’ experience gained in professional services and the legal industry spanning resourcing, recruitment, people related project, programme and portfolio management and management consulting. Before joining Halebury I was a Management Consultant for Ernst & Young and an HR Project Manager for years. I have successfully led the design and major reviews of recruitment, on-boarding and resourcing tools, techniques and processes for a number of clients. I am a Prince 2 Practitioner with MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) training.

Tell us a bit about your working style and other interests

I love spinning lots of plates!  I really enjoy unravelling client issues. Often a client may come to us thinking they need one thing, but after we discuss and explore further, we might come up with another solution that works much better. We often get calls from clients who need urgent help. They need someone ASAP, often the next morning. It is really rewarding to parachute in one of our team to help. Outside of Halebury I founded a nanny agency in 2013 which I built up and sold summer 2018.  A great learning experience whilst raising two children now 4 and 7. I live in London with my husband and family and enjoy running, Krav Maga (Google it!) and interior design.

Halebury features in this year’s edition of the Legal 500 for IT / Telecoms and Sport. For IT and Telecoms, the NewLaw firm is ranked in Tier 3. Commentary reads: Halebury’s ‘brilliant’ team includes lawyers with significant in house experience across IT and telecoms sectors and is led by the ‘responsive’ Denise Nurse and Janvi […]
