What do you focus on for your clients

I am a senior media lawyer with significant experience across a wide range of IP and commercial matters.

Tell us about your professional background

I trained and qualified into the TMT team at Dentons. After 6 years in the IP and media team at Olswang, I moved in-house as Head of Legal at Absolute Radio. I subsequently moved to the Consumer Products division at Warner Bros. before joining Halebury in 2015. Since joining Halebury I have undertaken a number of secondments for some amazing clients in the media and technology sectors. I have supported the international TV and film distribution teams at both Sony Pictures and CBS International Studios, negotiating and drafting content distribution deals for the EMEA region. I have worked on formats, co-production and merchandising deals for NBCU International Studios. I have undertaken a 12-month maternity cover role as acting General Counsel for 7digital, a digital music and radio services business, where I managed a team of lawyers and music licensing professionals and supported the business through the acquisition of a major European competitor and a fundraise. I have also provided ad-hoc support to other clients in the media and creative industries, often advising start-ups and scale-ups on a range of commercial issues.

Tell us a bit about your working style and other interests 

I am a practical, collaborative lawyer and enjoy using my technical skills to provide commercial solutions. Clients have described me as high impact, providing immediate value to their businesses and legal teams. When not working I am most likely to be found either at the riding stables with my two daughters or at a gig with friends.
